Here I’ll break down how to arrive at your appointment and help you feel empowered by knowing how to book your future services with me. For best results, please arrive with your hair 100% dry and clean within 24 hours, no workouts. Your closet requests that you avoid wearing white, turtleneck, cowl neck, or hoodied tops.
Shear Harmony Hair is cashless and accepts the varieties Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and ApplePay for your convenience.
Street parking on N Tazewell is perfect if you’re here under two hours (uses the Park Mobile app). Target LAZ parking is the closest garage parking, especially if it’s rainy. Two entrances are at 7th and Glebe (uses primary credit card methods and caps at $15).

Your first salon service will be booked from the New Client Category. Afterwards, always book a minimum and maximum of ONE service from the Mains Category and feel free to tack on as many Extras as needed.
Any appointment bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations outside of the salon are managed by you to keep things less confusing. Please text me when needing to cancel within 48 hours.
Let’s break it down
While your first service will include a 30 minute in-depth consultation, all future services will begin with a 3-5 minute consultation and end with a blowdry finish.

Treating you is our obsession! With a variety of treatments to choose from and the restfulness from the extra long scalp massage, you’ll be begging to do a treatment every time.
We like to have a little fun with our drink of the month. I won’t stop you from bringing you own, but rumor has it, ours are the best.
Can I book the "To Maintain" services as a new client?
As a new client, your first appointment will be booked exclusively from my New Client Collection packages. These include extra consultation and application time so we can set a strong foundation and I can find a natural rhythm in the hair. After that first sesh, you’ll be able to book these services to keep your look fresh and maintained.
Can I bring my work?
Absolutely! The best times to work are during color application, processing, and blowdry. You’ll just need to pause for consultation, shampoo, and haircutting. Phone calls are totally fine—just a heads-up that I may move you around a bit and to expect a little background noise from neighbors with the open ceiling.
What are your salon policies?
All salon policies are conveniently stated on the Guest Information Update Form in the Client Lounge, which all new clients will be directed to fill out prior to starting their first service.
Cancellation Policy: I kindly request 48 hours notice prior to cancelling your hair appointment.
For clarification, cancellations include modifying, rescheduling or cancelling any appointment within 48 hours notice, failure to show for the appointment, or arriving late to the point where the stylist needs to terminate your appointment. Last minute cancellations will result in a fee in the amount of 50% of any missed service(s) and will be due prior to scheduling any future appointments. While all appointments are client managed outside the salon, new clients are welcome to email me directly at shearharmonyhair@gmail.com to cancel the appointment.
What products do you use?
We proudly use Wella for color products and R+Co for shampoo and styling products. R+Co is a cruelty free line and products are available to purchase.
Can I bring my child or pet?
For safety reasons, children and pets are not allowed with the exception of a service dog. The service dog will need to be wearing their service dog vest or harness and a heads up would be very appreciated. Minors are allowed to receive services but guardians will need to sign a consent waiver.
Absolutely, however I always encourage clients to consult with their doctors, as I am not a medical professional.
